This milestone has been long anticipated. In preparation for this exciting journey, Lara Burns, Director of Operations for Rapport New Zealand, embarked on an immersive visit to Rapport’s London office in July.
During her visit, Lara connected with team members from head office and with managers from across the UK. She participated in leadership meetings, detailed induction training, and workshops focused on operational excellence. This experience was invaluable, allowing Lara to gain insights into how the UK team consistently delivers remarkable service to our clients across the UK and Ireland.
In preparation for the launch, Dirk and other members of the Rapport UK head office flew to Auckland to support this milestone. They were captivated by Aotearoa’s breathtaking landscapes and immersed themselves in its rich cultural heritage, which further fuelled the team’s enthusiasm and vision for the brand’s local presence.
Leading up to the main event, the team spent valuable time with the Rapport New Zealand ambassadors, who were undergoing their official Rapport training. This included comprehensive induction sessions and workshops on operational excellence. The training was very well-received, with positive feedback from all involved.
The official launch party took place at Faradays, a unique and exceptional venue that perfectly set the tone for the introduction of the Rapport brand in Aotearoa. Rapport ambassadors were on hand to welcome and impress guests as they arrived, adding a personalised touch to the evening.
The culinary experience was equally outstanding, featuring local delicacies such as oysters, cheeses, and an indulgent dessert table. To complement the food, guests enjoyed a bespoke spritz cocktail alongside fine New Zealand wines.
Both Dirk and Lara delivered speeches during the event, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and optimism. With the first Rapport clients in attendance, it was a proud moment for everyone involved, marking the start of a new chapter for Rapport in New Zealand. These trailblazing clients are now leading the way in supporting Rapport’s presence in this unique market.
