Lara began her career in guest services and hospitality in London, working as General Manager across bustling gastropubs. Transforming challenges into successes, she later took on roles as Operations Manager at various guest services and hospitality companies, before bringing her expertise in guest experiences to New Zealand.
In New Zealand, Lara led guest services operations, developed a high-performance culture, and created vision and strategy for large client contracts. Now, as she pursues an MBA at Auckland University of Technology, Lara is deepening her expertise by blending academic rigor with real-world experience.
Since joining Compass Group in 2022, Lara has led the strategic operational direction across Auckland, driving operational excellence, enhancing client relationships, and ensuring consistent standards across the board. Whether driving million-dollar growth or spearheading sustainability initiatives, she thrives on creating spaces where both businesses and people excel.
Launching Rapport in New Zealand marks an exciting new chapter for Lara and the team. Her passion for developing high-performing teams has been the cornerstone of her career, but for Lara, the real win is building strong, resilient teams that shine, no matter the challenge.
Outside of work, Lara can be found exploring vineyards or treating herself to a well-deserved shopping spree for new shoes.
