Anna’s Early Values and Personal Journey

Before making the move to London, Anna lived with her Family in the Philippines. Her father passed away when she was still young, but as the eldest child, she felt the responsibility to step up and support her family. Although moving was one of the most challenging moments of her life, Anna showed unwavering courage in support of her family.

“That experience taught me the value of courage and responsibility. My family became my source of strength, inspiring me to be a stronger person and motivating me to grow and become better, not just for myself, but for them.”

Before joining Rapport, Anna worked in the hotel industry. She gained experience in hotels and luxury properties. She quickly found that she enjoys variety and adaptability in her roles. She loves meeting new people and quickly adjusting to different locations and customer needs, which is what brought her to Rapport.

Growing Her Career

Anna started her career with Rapport in 2017 as a Dedicated Network Team Ambassador. This dynamic role gave Anna extensive experience in different work environments, and gave her the opportunity to connect with a variety of people.

After thriving in this role, Anna was promoted to Team Leader. She became responsible for a team of nine spread across nine buildings. As Team Leader, she learned how to effectively manage and motivate her team, while balancing day-to-day operational demands.

After spending three years in her Team Leader role, Anna decided to test her career in a different direction. Anna became a Community Manager, responsible for the members’ spaces within one of our client’s sites. In this role, she gained valuable skills in creating positive guest experiences, managing events, and enhancing community engagement within the space.

In 2022, Anna returned to the contract where it all started, now as Deputy Guest Service Manager. In her current role, she supports the Guest Services Account Director in managing a team of 65 ambassadors across more than 30 buildings. Anna leads by example and consistently promotes exceptional service delivery on behalf of Rapport.

Development Opportunities at Rapport

Anna has taken full advantage of the learning and development programmes available at Rapport. She has participated in both the ‘Lead The Way’ and ‘Inspire’, which are programmes designed to provide Rapport ambassadors with valuable leadership skills. These development programmes also allow our team members to expand their networks across the wider company, with more opportunities for collaboration and fresh perspectives.

“Through the “Lead The Way” programme, I developed strong leadership and communication skills, learning how to delegate tasks confidently, support team development, and maintain high performance. The knowledge and insights I gained from these development programmes have been instrumental in my growth, and have significantly contributed in my current role.”

Recognising a True Ambassador

In Anna’s spare time, she enjoys volunteering, charity work, and giving back to the community. In 2025, her kindness was formally recognised at the Rapport Excellence Awards with The Heart Award. This award is dedicated to recognising our unsung heroes and those who put others first, often without even realising it. From taking part in charity fun runs, to sharing food from her home country with her team, and even accompanying her colleague to A&E, Anna consistently shares her unwavering kindness.

Anna has also been the recipient of seven WOW! awards, another one of Rapport’s recognition programmes. One of Anna’s winning stories even featured in the Inspire Book Volume I, published by Rapport.

Anna’s Advice

Anna’s leadership style is inspired by her role model, her mother. Anna has always admired her mother’s resilience, determination, and unwavering love, which she credits for all her achievements in life.

“Life can be challenging, but the key is to take it one day at a time. You will face setbacks and failures, but it’s important to learn how to reset and rise again. It’s also okay to feel uncomfortable and vulnerable along the way. Embrace the journey, make the most of each experience, and reflect on the lessons learned. This mindset will not only help you grow professionally but will also make you a better person in the process.”
