Empowering Futures with Down Syndrome Ireland brought together over 60 attendees, including business leaders, advocates, and community members, to champion inclusive employment practices and explore the transformative impact of workplace diversity.


The panel offered an inspiring blend of education, networking opportunities, and practical insights into fostering workplaces where individuals with Down Syndrome can thrive. By creating a space for meaningful dialogue and shared learning, the event highlighted the importance of embracing inclusivity as a pathway to innovation, collaboration, and success.

The panel featured special guests Jennifer Barry (Actress and Down Syndrome Ireland Ambassador), Edel McSorley, Fiona Fahey, Aoife Gaffney, and Emily Abbam ACIPD. Each speaker shared personal stories and professional insights, shedding light on the challenges faced by individuals with Down Syndrome and the strategies that organisations can adopt to empower these individuals in their career journeys. The panel’s heartfelt contributions left a lasting impression on attendees, sparking conversations that extended well beyond the event.
