Empower is Rapport’s employee-led resource group which addresses challenges that women face in and out of the workplace, and what everyone can do to support and learn from each other. Their vision is to create an inclusive & safe environment where women and Allies come together to share experiences, connect, and empower.
The week kicked off with a heartfelt breakfast honouring working Mums. This event fostered meaningful conversations and connections amongst attendees, setting a positive tone for the week.
On Tuesday, the focus was on mental wellbeing. Participants received a self-care journal filled with activities designed to nurture themselves and their teams, promoting a culture of self-care and mental health awareness.
Wednesday’s theme was financial wellbeing. Attendees were provided with valuable insights and resources aimed at achieving financial freedom, empowering them to take control of their financial futures.
Thursday centred on physical wellbeing, featuring a session with Jacob Thomas from the Empowerment Project. Jacob shared expert advice on healthy habits and exercise routines, providing practical tips for maintaining physical health.
The week concluded on a high note with a mentoring event for women at Rapport. This event offered a fantastic opportunity to discuss career aspirations and refine personal brands, complete with a photoshoot for updated headshots. The event was structured like speed dating, allowing ambassadors to sit down with women in leadership to gain valuable insights and knowledge.
