You are an up-beat individual with integrity and a positive, can-do attitude; passionate about providing outstanding service. You take responsibility for your contribution to your colleagues and give the highest level of care to our clients’, employees and visitors. An excellent communicator, you maintain the highest standards of personal presentation in a clear working environment.

You have a pivotal role in providing exceptional service over the phone and are responsible for creating a positive experience for callers through effective communication, problem-solving and excellent customer service skills. Typically, this also includes answering queries, assisting guests, making reservations for meeting rooms and liaising with other departments.

You are responsible for inspiring, engaging and guiding your team to achieve service excellence by working effectively with them. You ensure all our ambassadors understand and anticipate our client’s needs. You manage and maximise performance, have excellent communication skills and maintain controls for the security of our clients’ premises and materials.

You oversee the entire lifecycle of a full range of on-site events, from conception to execution, ensuring that each one aligns with the objectives, enhances our client’s brand and leaves a positive impact on attendees. This combines strategic planning, organisational skills, creativity and effective communication to put on memorable events.

You are well organised and enjoy a varied and challenging role. Making everyone’s lives easier by ensuring your floor is fully operational and running smoothly at all times. Proactively solving problems for users, monitoring service standards, ensuring excellence and consistency at all times. You build community spirit and develop strong working relationships with other departments to improve the working environment.

This role is part of our Management Team and you oversee the day-to-day operations within one or more of our clients’ offices. You own and then build personal and professional relationships with all stakeholders, understand their needs and use your initiative to provide new ideas or introduce efficient processes. You lead, inspire, mentor and coach a group of operational teams to ensure that we provide a first class, professional service to our clients.

Annual Rapport Excellence Awards

Once a year we celebrate excellence and acknowledge our ambassadors with special awards who have gone above and beyond and provided exceptional service for their clients and guests. It is like our Oscars where we come together with food, drink and entertainment each year!

Monthly WOW! Awards Programme

We have a longstanding partnership with The WOW! Awards, as it recognises excellent guest service based purely on guest, client and colleague nominations each month. Then every quarter, we host a special event to present certificates to all our WOW! Award winners. We’re delighted that many of our clients support our people in their moment of recognition.

Annual Be A Star Scheme

A Compass Group employee recognition scheme to nominate our colleagues for their outstanding contributions. Every quarter, the best are selected and winners receive a certificate, an invitation to a celebratory lunch and £250. With a chance to be crowned the ‘best of the best’ and receive £10,000 in the annual ‘Be A Star Legend Award’.

Four Annual Engagement Days

These days are a perfect excuse to celebrate our colleagues’ success. They create a better work culture, increase productivity and foster new relationships.

Launched on 10th March 2014 by Rapport and ComXo, it is celebrated by businesses in a wide variety of sectors. Every year we send each of our switchboard operators a gift and their local manager celebrates the occasion to show how much we value them.

Launched in 1991 in the USA to celebrate the role of professional receptionists. We always host a range of activities based on the theme of the day, ‘Better Together’ and all our directors and head office team spend time with our front-line receptionists.

This showcases the vital work that Facilities Management professionals contribute to businesses across the world including ours and it raises the profile of these important roles. Giving us the opportunity to recognise their hard work and their contribution to our overall success.

A week-long opportunity to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice. We celebrate this week with local events, competitions, games and quizzes arranged by our head office.

By partnering with ELBA, we assist businesses in giving back and supporting locals' employment at Rapport. This alignes with our commitment to community engagement and environmental responsibility. We also collaborate with ELBA for an Ecobricks challenge, to actively reduce plastic waste.

During the pandemic, our people volunteered at Refettorio Felix, by cooking meals for the local disadvantaged community. We assisted the transition to a takeaway service, providing more volunteering opportunities in the future as a way of giving back to the local community.

The uniform requirements are different at all of our clients’ sites. They range from very corporate uniforms, to neat casual personal attire. We will provide you with any uniform required for you role.
