It was a beautiful sunny evening and the event was organised to perfection as always by Natalie O’Dalaigh, our Training and Engagement Manager, supported by an enthusiastic team of helpers including Mohammed Kachach who originally had the idea for the event.
Everyone turned up early to take part in the various warm up exercises and to have photos taken in their specially designed Rapport T-shirts (whilst they were still pristine!!)
Even our managing director, Greg Mace was there, promising to beat the younger members of the team if they were not on top form!
Support for the runners was dotted all around the spectacular route through the trees in Hyde Park. We were delighted that many of our friends from Action on Hearting Loss came along to cheer us on.
In total over 400 people completed the course, raising funds for various good causes.
Afterwards we all enjoyed a picnic and drinks in the evening sunshine, admiring our finishers medals and comparing times.
Natalie commented “This was such a great fun event and it was brilliant to meet up with other Rapport Ambassadors from many of our different client sites, take part in an event in an iconic location and also raise money for a good cause. I can’t wait for next year”
Mohammed added “The afternoon was amazing, and it was great to see so much happiness in the faces of the runners and the supporters”
